My lovely friend surprised me with a trip to Dublin for my 24th Birthday, and knowing that Dublin have a few stores / brands that aren't available in England - I was super excited for all the shopping (of course).
I discovered the makeup brand Inglot last year and picked up a few bits in their store in London but Ireland have quite a few stores there. If you're ever in Dublin, do check out the store - they are amazing in colour range and quality. I was also excited to see they had a Space.NK there and Becca is a brand that I've recently started getting into, and there was quite a few products I wanted to order online but was worried about the delivery (I've read/heard that the shimmering perfectors don't travel well). My local Space.NK don't stock Becca, so I was excited to swatch these in store and as much as I wanted to buy the whole range...I only bought two. I also wanted to try the Backlight Priming Filter and the Blot Pressed Powder from the range.
Becca Shimmering Pressed Perfector: Moonstone and Opal
Dior Nude Air Glowing Gardens Illuminating Powder: Glowing Nude
(This needs no introduction, just look at it!)
Inglot Lip Matte Tint, Lip Pencil/Crayon, Body Powder and Brown Gel Liner
Bioderma: Sebium H20 Purrifying Cleansing Micelle Solution
This smells amazing and removes makeup like a dream.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
These look so different on image swatches than they do in person, I'm not sure about these just yet, especially as they have been raved about for years.
Zara Guipure Lace Tops
Last year, Zara released similar lace tops in navy blue and nude and they sold out very quickly, and they were soon for sale for nearly double the price on eBay. When I saw these in the Dublin store, they worked out cheaper than I would have got them in England so I quickly snapped them up. However, I find that Zara sizes come up small and I ended up buying them in a "Medium" and I think they will make great little Summer tops.
I will be reviewing some of these products in my upcoming posts, so look out for them! I would definitely want to go back to Dublin again to visit some of the cute little food places and explore more of the brands/stores that aren't really that available in England. Until then, I will plan my next adventure...
