I very rarely get the chance to dress up and wear my nice clothes out, so I thought I would start blogging my outfits too (since I normally just Instagram these photos). Last Sunday night, I went out to celebrate an 80th birthday. Well, it was 2 girls I used to work with, 1 turned 35 and the other turned 45 so it was a joint 80th birthday. Get it? We went to a new-ish bar and restaurant in Newcastle, The Botanist (amazing, by the way....it's ben open for a good few months now and you still struggle to get a reservation), and sampled the cocktail menu and enjoyed some really good food.
The attire was very 'smasual' (smart/casual) but I love to wear heels whenever I get the chance. Since I am only a petite 5ft 2, I can certainly get away with wearing heels most of the time without looking too dressy. The heels I wore were from public desire (which I blogged about them here and you can buy them here), and this was the first time I'd worn them out and they are comfy heels. Yes, I do get lace indentations when after U have taken them off but that comes with the style of the shoe. I struggle to find jeans that fit because I have short legs and a large butt. River Island has become my favourite store for petite jeans because they sell 'extra-short' online and these white ripped will be my summer go-to jeans for everything dressy and casual. So any short-legged beauty's out there, make sure you try River Island online for shorter jeans because they don't do them in store.
During a short time in my life last year I was obsessed with holographic...I still am to be honest but I just feel that holographic accessories (and the look itself) just adds a cool edge to any outfit. This bag is originally from Zara but I hunted for it for months on eBay/Depop and finally got it on Depop a couple of months ago. It's got plenty of space to put all necessary things you'd need for a night out and a strap that can be tucked away so you can hold it as a clutch bag.
And of course, my usual everyday silver accessories, pandora ring, tiffany ring and bracelets, and my longines watch (which I blogged about here).
